ABSTRACT
Signalment and History An 18-month-old, castrated, male Shetland Sheep dog weighing 22 kg sustained a spinal cord injury following a motor vehicle accident. The patient was presented to an emergency clinic nonambulatory in the caudal limb. Dexamethasone and butorphanol was administered prior to referral to a surgical hospital.
