ABSTRACT
Signalment and History A 5-year, 9-month-old, intact, female Laborador Retriever weighing 34 kg. She was found in a field with a gunshot wound near her right thigh 24 hours prior to presentation at the referral hospital. The wound was clipped and cleansed with systemic antibiotics administered within 8 hours of initial presentation.
