ABSTRACT
As has been pointed out throughout this book, critical incident management is a complex endeavor. Invariably, critical incidents and large-scale special events involve a variety of players and stakeholders from a number of organizations and jurisdictions. As a result, there are many moving parts at many different levels. For these reasons, at times, critical incidents can be overwhelming to even the most seasoned practitioners.
