ABSTRACT

The fact that the organization has an efficacious strategy, effective processes, and efficient operations will be a great story to highlight as a key strategy in the organization's success at meeting its environmental, social, and economic responsibilities, and thereby achieving its sustainability goals. Many organizations prepare simple turtle diagrams to use for simple work instructions. A suppliers, inputs, process, outputs, and customers (SIPOC) diagram enables the organization to show how the suppliers and customers contribute to the entire value chain for a process. A plan–do–check–act (PDCA) method is used to manage processes and the organization's operations as a whole. Knowledge, information, and technology need to be treated as essential resources for the organization. The process approach is a management strategy for its product and service operations. The hierarchical process mapping tool uses multiple layers to depict an entire system of processes responsible for a product or service.
