ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 covers project typology that emerged in research, but is also based on personal experiences and observations. e type of project or project situation should in uence the practices (approaches, tools, techniques, and behaviors) that a project manager applies to run the project. I will try to give some indication of what practice is favorable or detrimental in certain project types in this chapter.
