ABSTRACT

A very simple and stepwise clear description of a microsimulation modeling technology (MMT)–based spatial model has been introduced in the previous chapter. This model is for estimating reliable small area housing stress statistics at the statistical local area (SLA) level in Australia. Essentially, a range of model outputs have been derived by running the spatial microsimulation model. Then using these model outputs, various results are designed to provide valuable reports on housing stress estimates in Australia. This chapter demonstrates the empirical results of the MMT-based small area estimation model along with detailed discussion.
