ABSTRACT

Decision sweeping (see especially Chapter 14) is a variety of solution pluralism that applies to models with decision variables, notably constrained optimization models. Parameter sweeping, the subject of this chapter, complements decision sweeping in COModels and also applies to models generally. It is a variety of solution pluralism that is useful for post-solution analysis of all models, whether or not they have decision variables. Given this, it will be helpful at this point to provide some comments and reminders on solution pluralism.
