ABSTRACT
This chapter demonstrates the various issues that universities have as a workplace and provides a summary of unique university environments such as laboratory, dining services, animal, and custodial ergonomics. Some universities also have medical centers, which require safe patient-handling ergonomics. The particular issues related to patient handling or computer ergonomics will not be covered in this chapter.
