ABSTRACT
The main topics discussed in this chapter are hydrogeological parameters, the classification of aquifers, the principles of groundwater movement, the hydraulics of water wells (steady and unsteady flow) and the assessment methods of hydrogeological parameters of confined and unconfined aquifers.
