ABSTRACT
Within the framework of Figure 13.1 of Chapter 13, we now deal with the medium-range, tactical problem of establishing aggregate production rates, workforce sizes, inventory levels, and, possibly, shipping rates. We present an evaluative overview of a selection of approaches to dealing with this problem.
