To finish the simulation step, the computed flow matrix is stored for detailed flow pattern analysis.
The maximum flow model can be easily be tuned if prior information is available. For example, the maximum pipeline capacity at the cross border connection point together with the pipeline diameter can be taken from a transmission system operator (TSO) reports. A pipeline failure probability is modelled according to the EGIG report (EGIG, 2011).
