ABSTRACT

The remainder of the paper is organized as follows. A model is first developed for the definition and analysis of the resilience of multistate systems in Section 2. Following the modeling, the resilience metric is defined in Section 3. In Section 3, we also present an approach to estimate the CDF of the resilience metric, based on the theory of aggregated stochastic processes. A numerical example is presented in Section 4 to illustrate the developed methods. Finally, the paper is concluded in Section 5.
