ABSTRACT

The system composed of PMSM and inverter is depicted in Figure 1, and its DC bus voltage is Vdc. The electric motor can be equivalent to a circuit composed of resistance, inductance and back EMF. The continuous model of the motor can be described as:

where uan, ubn, and ucn are the stator phase voltages, ia, ib, and ic are the stator phase currents, ea, eb, and ec are the stator phase back-EMFs, R is the stator resistance, and L is the stator inductance.
