ABSTRACT
The main goal of the dynamics of structures is to present methods for analyzing stresses and deflections in any given structural system, when it is subjected to arbitrary dynamic loadings. This objective can be considered as an extension of standard methods of structural analysis, which are usually concerned with static loadings. These thus become functions of time, as well as the structural response.
