ABSTRACT
In this chapter we classify the themes identified in the discussions (see Chapters 1 to 10 in Part 2) under ten headings. We have added to these headings some points that GPs and practice nurses might find it useful to consider when reflecting on their own consultations. Some of the headings address areas that influence the consultation from outside, while others arise from the interaction itself.
