Write short notes on the anatomy of the third cranial nerve nucleus

The third cranial nerve is also known as the oculomotor nerve. It has two motor nuclei: a main motor nucleus and an accessory parasympathetic nucleus called the Edinger–Westphal nucleus. The third nerve nucleus has no sensory output.
