ABSTRACT
Introduction Health professionals, managers and policy makers now need to be 'evaluation literate'. As well as being held accountable for the results of our decisions, we are also being held accountable for knowing about recent evaluation reports. We are expected to understand an evaluation report and to decide the implications for patients, populations, health care organisations and policies.
