ABSTRACT

Once you have collected a number of PUNs and described

them in your logbook, it is time to set out a learning plan and to have some fun sharing your PUNs with others. New princi-

pals seem to have no difficulty in collecting PUNs, as it is still natural for them to be reflective about their work. Long-

established principals collect more cautiously, as some of

them have forgotten how to reflect on what they were doing. I know many doctors who have rekindled an interest in their

work by collecting PUNs, reflection being the key ingredient of lifelong learning.
