ABSTRACT
It is intended that this book should be both a guide and a source of reference for GPs and their practice managers regarding the new contract and its implications for the practice income and how this may be optimised. Inevitably when the book goes into print developments will have taken place as the GPC of the BMA seek to interpret areas of the new contract that require clarification. Similarly, PCOs will also make interpretations in relation to each individual locality. This is an opportunity to write notes beside the text so that the book continues to be a handy reference.
