ABSTRACT
Martin did phone Anne and spent time talking through the feelings he had become aware of as being present within him during his lay-by experience. He was grateful for this. It had left him feeling more able to hold an adult focus with Mandy. He felt that the fact this was to be the last session required him to be fully present as an adult with her. He recognised that he had been affected by that earlier session but somehow that had lifted. He had expressed a lot of emotion over the phone and it had made a difference. He somehow felt lighter as he waited as the clock ticked towards the start time of the counselling session.
