ABSTRACT
Mandy was running late and she knew she was going to struggle to get to the counselling session on time, but when she had phoned the surgery, the lunch-time ‘we are closed’ message meant she couldn’t let them know. Oh well, she thought, I tried. She arrived in the end just a couple of minutes late, walking briskly from the car park. She felt breathless as she told the receptionist she was there to see the counsellor.
