ABSTRACT
There are many vulnerable sections of society which could reduce their risk of contracting a serious disease if they relaxed their own restrictions surrounding condom usage. It is important for the public to be comfortable with the concept and the word 'condom'. A popular misconception exists that it is only homosexuals and commercial sex workers who need to use condoms on a regular basis, but there are sections of society such as the clients of commercial sex workers who are also at high risk. There are also people who may be infected with HIV but have not yet developed AIDS.
