Working with the Residency Program and Site Visits

Usually the preceptor involvement begins with a contact from the Residency Director of a program. That contact may be initiated by either party, but the sub­ sequent process is the same. The director will supply an orientation. The level of orientation will be based on the size of the program and the needs of the preceptor.
