ABSTRACT
Residents are not prisoner - they can say 'no' to their medication. If they do, and they are competent to make the decision, apart from charm and persuasion - there is nothing you can do.
However, if the resident is unable to make proper (informed) decisions, perhaps through the onset of dementia or other illness, it all gets very tricky.
