The search strategy: think, search and appraise A search for the best evidence follows the sequence of ‘think, search and appraise’. This search strategy comprises:
thinking about and defining a good specific question in consultation with all the staff who are involved in the question and affected by possible change(s)
searching for and finding the best level of evidence by looking critically at the relevant publications obtained
appraising and interpreting the evidence as applied to your question in relation to your situation.
