Introduction As discussed in Section II, franchise location owners are responsible for security and loss prevention operations. This setup differs from a traditional retail operation where all fraud/theft directives come from the main office. Even though the manager of a single company-owned retail location is responsible for that individual store, operating procedures are mandated from the corporate office.
