ABSTRACT
A 51-year-old woman notices swelling of her right calf in the taxi ride home from the airport after a transatlantic flight. It is one o’clock in the morning and she is very tired and preoccupied with finally having the chance to lie down and go to bed, so does not pay close attention to her leg.
