ABSTRACT

A 69-year-old man decides to avail himself of the wellman check-up that his local GP offers for people over the age of 60. He feels that he is in good health and wants to keep things that way.The GP does not find anything

untoward on history or examination, but also requests some blood tests and arranges to see the patient in a fortnight to discuss the results. The blood tests are normal, with the exception of the full blood count.
