ABSTRACT
A 20-year-old woman is brought into accident and emergency having been found unconscious by a friend in her room at the local university halls of residence. The friend reports that the patient has no chronic medical problems or previous serious illnesses but had been suffering from a cold the previous day.The patient is not known to be taking any medication, has no history of recreational drug use or alcohol abuse.
