ABSTRACT
In the event that rest allowances are excessive, organizational productivity is directly affected . In the event that rest allowances are inadequate, it leads to acute and chronic worker fatigue . This not only leads to reduced worker productivity but could also be the cause of injuries; overexertion injuries in industry are a major cause of concern . With each injury, certain costs are associated . For example, medical cost, lost work days cost, replacement cost, etc . The ultimate effect of all these costs is reduced organizational productivity .
