This chapter shows how to prepare the toolpaths for tall parts using the stabilizing wall feature and explores the implication of building tall parts using the Fortus machine. The new support created is more reasonable to avoid the part being printed from tipping off due to vibration of the structure. The chapter also shows how to design for additive manufacturing because the solution that the pre-processing software offers is not optimal; the part being built is very likely going to fall during printing because the part is tall. Orient the model upright by clicking the bottom, which is circular as the bottom of the model for the model in the upright position. In the Modeler Setup, change the Support Style to be "SMART".
