ABSTRACT
Organizations generally consist of groups of people who work together for the achievement of common goals. A team comprises any group of people linked in a common purpose. However, a group in itself does not necessarily constitute a team. Teams are especially appropriate for conducting tasks that are high in complexity and have many interdependent subtasks, such as the development and commercialization of knowledge-intensive products. Last, teamwork and team building are an organized effort to improve your overall team effectiveness.
