ACTOR (ROLE-PLAYER) INSTRUCTIONS You have been working as a support worker for 3 years in the care home; you have been the key worker for Sam for over a year. You have noticed that over the last 6 weeks, Sam has been moody, not smiling and playful as he used to be. He has lost weight, and at times he is banging his head repeatedly against the wall, at times even causing skin tears to his head. Nothing major has changed at the care home and he usually has a routine that has not changed. However, you know that his mother, who was visiting him every week, has taken ill and is in hospital now.
