ABSTRACT

A 71-year-old man presents to the dermatology clinic with a sudden-onset pruritic eruption on the chest and back. The day prior to developing this rash, he was outside shovelling snow. No one he lives with has similar symptoms. On examination, he has numerous excoriated small pink to red papules, some with overlying hemorrhagic crusting. He also has numerous seborrheic keratoses of the neck (93). He has not tried any treatment thus far.
