As soon as you are presented with a critical incident, you must be thinking of the most probable causes and how you will identify and manage them. You must be systematic in your thought process so that you do not miss anything out, as this could potentially be fatal to your patient (and thus to your performance). Your answers must be confident and to the point, because in a real-life situation time is of the essence.
