ABSTRACT
Expose the patient from nipples to knees, the parts not being actively examined can be temporarily covered with a cloth. Lay the patient flat, resting on a single pillow, with hands resting at the sides to relax the abdominal muscles. The examiner may need to kneel to perform the examination correctly.
