ABSTRACT
The aims of this chapter are to provide clinicians and researchers with a comprehensive and critical overview of the instruments used to measure headaches, and an introduction to the theor etical models of pain and measurement in general. The only headache conditions covered are adult migraine and tensiontype headache. Physiological measurement is not addressed.
