Common presentations in pregnancy

Resolution of pregnancy symptoms, together with a smaller-than-expected uterine size, is suspicious of a failed intrauterine pregnancy. In the absence of vaginal bleeding, the most likely diagnosis is a missed miscarriage, which can be entirely asymptomatic.
