ABSTRACT
The following phrases are examples of Immediate Pleas for Help that appeared at the earliest logical points in the calls: “Send an ambulance,” “We need help,” and “Get someone here.” Simply reporting an event or asking, “Are they on the way?” or “Can you send someone over here?” does not qualify as a plea for help.
