ABSTRACT

OK. You’ve got a well-dened set of priorities that you want to turn into a working project. What’s next? You assemble the superheroes that are actually going to make it a reality.

Dierent teams refer to the people who do the work by dierent names. Some people just call them team members. I happen to love that term because of the sports metaphor. However, in certain contexts it can be a little ambiguous, because the product owner and ScrumMaster are members of the scrum team, which can get confusing when trying to distinguish between those roles and the team members who specically bring the project to life. Another term that is frequently thrown around is developer. In many contexts, a developer is a computer programmer, but on scrum teams the term is frequently used more generically to refer to anyone bringing the project to life, including artists and people with other nonprogramming talents.
