ABSTRACT
Thermodynamics is an experimental science. It builds upon the results of experimental measurements, and its conclusions must be verified experimentally. On the other hand, well-established and experimentally confirmed thermodynamic models liberate us from the necessity of continuously performing experiments for each problem encountered.
