ABSTRACT
There are many different ways of studying adsorption [1–5]. Here, we consider a purely thermodynamic approach. As is usual in thermodynamics, the idea is to systematize the information that can be obtained from the study of the phenomena for pure compounds with the purpose of using it for interpolation and extrapolation, as well as for extension to the treatment of mixtures.
