ABSTRACT

The CAAV was founded by local associations in 1910 with purposes including the promotion of good practice in tenant right valuation. The tenant right items in Part 2 of the Schedule remain the same. The outgoing tenant's valuer, who is more likely to have more forewarning, should make good use of that time by negotiating with the landlord's agent over the state in which the holding is to be let and the treatment of the tenant's improvements and fixtures. The basic analysis offered previously for tenant's improvements under the 1986 Act applies, save that this time the rent review would be that for an FBT. The points of difference are that: Scotland Tenancies under the Agricultural Holdings Acts 1991 and 2003 and the Land Reform Act 2016. The 1991 Act sets out the provisions for compensation for tenant's improvements at waygo.
