ABSTRACT
The generally improved appearance of the detailed information should have the effect of increasing the confidence of the recipient, as well as adding to the job satisfaction of the person producing the data. The information is portable and may be added to, or consulted, remotely. Tenancy register contain information about the tenant, including the company’s registered address, a contact name and telephone number, the interest granted by the lease, provisions for review, records of rent, service charges and other payments made. Reports of activity in the management of properties can be generated from records and often form a basis for any additional information that the property manager wishes to convey to the owners. The chapter shows that the information and reporting base has a significant impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of property asset management. Reports prepared by engineers and contractors are always open to interpretation and are the producer’s subjective view of the situation.
