ABSTRACT

While a small website project that involves only one person and has no time constraint may not require a systematic approach for it to succeed, in large, complex Web projects that involve many people, including clients and users, a systematic way of working can mean the difference between success and failure. This systematic approach involves working in stages to ensure good understanding of the problem being solved, the proposed solution, and the requirements of the target users. This chapter explains the concept of systematic approach in Web development, using user-centered design (UCD).
