ABSTRACT

The execution phase is usually the longest phase of a project. During this phase, the whole team will be mobilized, and the project will begin to interact with other stakeholders who may have some involvement in the project. The kick-off marks the beginning of project execution. Flowing from the kick-off, all the planning that was done in the previous phases will be put into action. The format of the kick-off workshop and the mobilization of the stakeholders around it convey a clear message about the relevance of the project for carrying out the organization's strategy. Expected organizational impacts have already been assessed and listed during the initiation and planning phases of the project. The Risk Map of any project should also include the human factors. Projects are excellent opportunities for identifying and developing competencies. Upon completion of the conceptual design and evaluation of the organizational impacts, the necessary functions and profiles will be clearly identified.
