ABSTRACT

The implementation phase is often characterized by peak stress. No project is perfect, and problems, including human problems, come up in this phase. Get ready to manage this phase and decide the right time for implementation based on data-driven indicators of readiness to implement the change. It is in this phase—during which the change affects all stakeholders—that veiled antagonists may appear. For a change to be sustainable, some stakeholders, even if they participated in training that was successful in terms of quantitative indicators, have to be confident that they can successfully operate the new processes or technologies introduced by the project. Collect information and data that reflect possible concerns or the level of confidence of stakeholders regarding the implementation of the project. The communication of an implementation decision deserves a special section, as the project is nearing completion, but the journey of change will continue.
