ABSTRACT

In general case, the number of wires can be substantially greater than two. They form a structure of electrically connected lines located above the ground. The use of antenna with meandering load in MF range allows to reduce a size of a plot, which the antenna occupies, an area of the grounding and a price of construction. The correct selection of elements of antenna construction requires calculation of currents and voltages arising therein. An increase in the equivalent length of the load makes it possible to increase the effective height of the antenna. The input impedance of the antenna can be found more precisely if the antenna is treated as a linear radiator, the current along which is equal to the total current of the line. The effectiveness of the new antenna has been tested by measuring the field’s magnitude, produced by new antennas in comparison with the inverted L antenna.
