ABSTRACT

Professor John Kotter presents a comprehensive analysis of strategy and management. A comprehensive strategy that involves the identification of risks and assessing whether the strategic planning can successfully implement changes that confront them must be enforced with the mobilization of financial resources, capacity building, and technology, as well as data and institutions. The local implementation of the strategy is crucial for effectiveness. Although the goals and purpose of the strategy are global, taking actions regionally can have a long-lasting effect. The strategy in place and the leaders in charge need to create a strategic mindset and consequently build the plan and coalition to take lead in the sustainable development goals. The importance of assessing and meeting the targets of sustainable development has high relevance to the outcome and the strategy needs to be aligned with the reporting of those goals that are most relevant to the organizations’ structure and vision.
