Odds Ratio Function and Its Modeling

This chapter introduces the concept of the marginal and the conditional odds ratio functions. And studies the properties of such functions. A general density or probability mass function is shown to be decomposable into the odds ratio functions and the conditional densities at fixed conditions. Such a decomposition of a joint density facilitates the semiparametric odds ratio modeling approach.
